The Divorce Source Updated!

This may read a little differently to the majority of the amazing work on this site. Partially due to this little bit of news being about The Divorce Source itself, mostly due to a far less talented writer having a go at mashing some keys on a very clicky keyboard.

We have been keeping an eye on how you all use the site and we’d like to make it better, faster and stronger for you. We have removed a couple of things and made a few other things easier to access, also look out for a few new features throughout the site.

General Improvements:

  • The home page is now more article centric, putting the content you like front and centre.
  • As you know, there is a new news section, that’s probbaly how you found this strange article.
  • The primary navigation and logo have been put on a very effective diet.
  • The sidebar has been rearranged to make it easier to find new content.
  • Signing up for our newsletter is easier than ever.

In order to make way for our sleeker, more focused approach, we will be closing to the Job Zone as well as the Au Pair Zone tonight. These were nice ideas but they have not been utilised and we think the resources are better spent elsewhere. If there is sufficient interest in these features, they may return, better than ever.

Ask A Question:

The Q & A system has been changed to allow for better quality answers and greater anonymity for users. The new system allows you to ask a question, the question then gets sent to the appropriate expert and a response is posted on the site.

Concluding Remarks and future developments:

Speaking of questions and answers, please feel free to leave a comment, we’d love to hear how you think The Divorce Source can be improved and what will make your experience with the site even better. The Divorce Source is going to keep working hard to bring you valuable information. Next up will be a fully functional forum for you to interact with like-minded people who have had similar experiences, then maybe even a live webinar every month to discuss pressing issues. What do you think?

Until next time,

Your friendly neighbourhood webmaster.
